Commission Environment and Education

The Commission Environment and Education was established late in the spring 2009. The framework of the Commission are both environment and education. Education is a quiet new working field for a F.I.C.C. Commission. The former Commission combined environmental and technical issues.

Camping and caravanning embraces nature and its actions have an impact on the environment. It is essential that any camping or caravanning activity that is undertaken has minimal destructive effect on the world we live in. The F.I.C.C. policy endeavors to suggest methods whereby the down side effects of the hobby on the environment are reduced. The Commission Environment and Education are dealing with environmental issues and is trying to promote sustainable camping and caravanning through formal education, training of staff and general awareness raising.
