The Camping and Caravanning Club (GB)
Our British member club has a new President, Mr. Albert Walker.
We wish Mr. Walker every success in his new role and a happy and fruitful working relationship with F.I.C.C. We would also like to thank the outgoing President, Mr. Keith Jackson, for his commitment over the years to the world of international camping, caravanning and motorcaravanning.

The Camping and Caravanning Club’s magazine sponsored a group of soldiers who set off for the Antarctic in January 2012 to commemorate the centenary of the expedition led by Robert Falcon Scott (1912 – 2012). It is exactly 100 years ago that the Club’s former president (1909 -1912) and Britain’s most famous explorer reached the South Pole.
The Club magazine sponsored the expedition and has even obtained a duplicate of the Club’s silk pennant that Scott took with him to the Antarctic and that has now come back. 500 fabric copies of the pennant have been made and can purchased from the Club.
