From 3 January 2012 London has become a low emission zone and new regulations have come into force. If your motorcaravan has a diesel engine and a gross weight of 2.5 tonnes or over, it must meet Euro 3 emission standards regulations if you want to drive in the low emission zone.
Motorcaravan owners whose vehicles do not meet these requirements must pay a daily tax of £100.- if they drive in London. Anyone found contravening these regulations will be given a hefty fine.
