The small Icelandic coastal town of Holmavik has the world’s creepiest museum: the Museum of Magic and Witchcraft. Skeletons in strange attire, books of spells and tricks and relics that can make you disappear are just some of the magic artefacts that one comes across within its walls. The most fascinating object of all is the replica of “nabrok“, a pair of trousers that were made from the skin of a dead man. Legend has it that whoever wears these trousers and has a gold coin stolen from a widow permanently in his possession will never be short of money. Before the owner dies, another person must be found to wear the trousers!
