UKH was founded at the end of 1996. All of its members are nature-lovers who spend their leisure time camping at Croatian and foreign campsites. UKH is a member of the Croatian Camping and Caravanning Club which was established in 1976 and before the 2008 crisis had over 2,200 members. At present it has about 200 active members.

Our federation’s objectives are:

- To obtain for our members the latest news on services, prices and discounts at campsites in Croatia and abroad, as well as information on buying and selling caravans and motorcaravans, camping equipment, insurance, etc. In other words, anything that will enhance the status of camping in Croatia.

- UKH became a member of F.I.C.C. in 1998. This has meant that campers who are members of UKH can acquire the CCI camping card and are entitled to attend F.I.C.C. meetings and rallies. They also have access to general information on camping events that may be of interest.

Of our Federation’s many activities we would specifically mention:

- Ensuring UKH members’ presence at important meetings.

- Organising international events in Croatia including the 1st Adria Camping Rally in 2000 at the Zaton campsite near Zadar.

- Up to 2015, UKH has organised 15 Adria Camping Rallies with an average of between 1,100 and 1,700 participants.

- We have been involved in obtaining high standards on Croatian campsites since 2003.

- This year, UKH is organising the 82nd International F.I.C.C. Rally at the Strasko Campsite in Novalja on the island of Pag following the very successful 76th International F.I.C.C. Rally organised in Umag/Istria.
