The Camping and Caravanning Club is delighted to invite F.I.C.C members to join them for its landmark annual rally, the National Feast of Lanterns.
The annual event will be held in the grounds of Houghton Hall in Norfolk, which was built by Great Britain‘s first Prime Minister Sir Robert Walpole and is the perfect backdrop for a weekend away.
Campers will be welcomed on to Houghton Hall Deer Park from 28-31 August 2015 and will be able to enjoy free entertainment throughout the August Bank Holiday weekend.
There’s also the opportunity to explore Houghton Hall itself. Learn more about its unique history and take a look round its beautiful interiors, award-winning five acre garden, sculpture park and model soldier museum. Plus there’s a playground and restaurant available, making it a fantastic day out for all of the family!

The National Feast of Lanterns is the world’s largest annual rally of its kind, catering for all forms of camping. The first was held in 1922 and even in its present format it continues to uphold its traditions with a Mardi Gras parade and a lighting up ceremony, in which campers decorate their units, to mark the flagship event.

Robert Louden MBE, the Club’s Director General, said: “Our National Feast of Lanterns camping rally is steeped in history and has attracted campers to get together and celebrate our pastime for over 90 years.

“We hope F.I.C.C. members choose to join us for our 2015 rally and are inspired by the beautiful location, promise of great entertainment and the opportunity to make life-long friends.”
