56th National Federation Rally held in Ronda (Malaga) from 12 to 20 April 2014
FECC organised its annual camping event in the town of Ronda, a popular holiday destination not far from Marbella (Malaga)/Spain.
It is held at Easter and is the biggest rally event in Spain with a procession of participants in national costume and a wide-ranging entertainment programme.
The first national rally was held in 1958 and F.I.C.C. President, Joao Alves Pereira, has been going to event for the past 10 years. He was there again this year together with Dr. Gianni Picilli, President of the Italian Federation Confedercampeggio.
Joao Queroz, the President of the Portuguese Federation and campers from Portugal were also at this unique camping, caravanning and motorcaravanning celebration in Spain.
The rally was held in Ronda’s exhibition park, near the sports stadium, just 1.5 kms from the town centre.
The rally was booked out with 460 outfits (i.e. 1,000 campers). It was so successful that a good many campers had to be turned away for lack of space.
Participants were very happy with the arrangements and the lovely weather went hand-in-hand with the terrific atmosphere which was the hallmark of the rally from start to finish.
