The second international F.I.C.C. Rally to be held in 2014, will take place on the west coast of Finland in the Jazz Festival town of Pori. SF Caravan is organising the event and it will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2014.
Finland is in the Euro zone so exchange considerations are irrelevant for a good many participants. Roads in Finland are consistently good and there are excellent campsites everywhere. Ferry services operate from Tallin, Gdansk, Travemünde, Stockholm etc.

The rally site is 22 hectares, 10 – 12 of which will be used for 1,000 pitches (each 100 sq.m.). It is right in the centre of the town, is very green and beautiful and can take caravans up to 60 tonnes.
The campsite has all the necessary amenities – drinking water, electricity, and new containers with lots of toilets, showers etc. will be installed. As is common practice in Finland, rubbish is sorted and recycled.
There are hotels in the middle of the town, about 1 ½ kms from the rally site, and a restaurant 500m away.

A wonderfully varied programme of interesting activities awaits participants and children and teenagers won’t be forgotten either. Please note that there is a children’s playground adjoining the rally site and the sandy beach has been awarded the Blue Flag eco-label.
A number of excursions are being organised that will provide great opportunities to visit the area.

This rally promises to be a very happy and friendly gathering of campers from the world over.
The Kirjurinluoto Arena can take 40,000 people so there should be no problem even if it rains.
Kirjurinluoto park is a gem situated in the town centre not far from the Kokemäenjoki river. It is an attraction for all age groups and is easy to get to on foot.

So welcome to Finland and welcome to Pori – you will not be disappointed!
The organisers will take rally registrations from the beginning of December.
