Tent poles break or refuse to slot into their appointed place, the flysheet is put up all wrong, rain penetrates the tent fabric and, the last straw, the wind blows it all away...
If this is reminiscent of your last camping experience, then we suggest you try an inflatable tent.
Designed by the German firm Heimplanet, the frame of this revolutionary shelter consists of inflatable poles in a criss-cross arrangement that keep the tent walls in place. You simply use a pump to inflate the intersecting poles which become rigid and the tent basically erects itself. Pitching takes less than a minute. It is just as easy to take down. You open the valves and the tent collapses down. These tents cost between €449 and €549 depending on the size.
