Germany: From 1 July 2014 all motorists must carry reflective waistcoats (European standard EN 471) in their vehicles. They must be worn in the event of an accident or breakdown.

China: Second “All in Caravaning” Event in Beijing
In the middle of June, the second “All in Caravaning” event was held in the National Convention Center Beijing/China. This exhibition of motorcaravans, caravans and accessories is a joint undertaking with the Düsseldorf Fair. There were 99 exhibitors and the 19,120 visitors were able to get acquainted with all of the best known brands.

Spain: Drivers who wear spectacles must always have a spare pair in their vehicle.

Warning triangle: Following numerous complaints about the Spanish regulation that two warning triangles must be put in position in the event of a vehicle breakdown, the Spanish authorities have decided that this should only apply to vehicles registered in Spain. Foreign registered vehicles need only put up one warning triangle if their vehicle breaks down.

The highway code requires all drivers to wear a reflective waistcoat whenever they leave their vehicle on a road or on the side of a main road. Passengers are also required to do the same when they leave a vehicle.
Waistcoats may be yellow, orange or red but it is important that they have two reflective stripes.
