Japan Autocamping Federation has elected Mr. Akira Yoshida as its new President.
Mr. Kazuhiro Akase is Vice-President.
Mr. Junzo Hasegawa, who served as President for many years has been made Honorary President.
We send our congratulations and best wishes to these gentlemen.

The Camping and Caravanning Club (UK)
Robert Louden, Director General of the Camping & Caravanning Club, was named in the Queen's Birthday Honours List and will receive an MBE (Member of the British Empire) for services to the Outdoor Recreation Industry.
Mr. Louden who is 60 years old and lives in Daventry is passionate about rugby, motor sports and sailing. He is a keen camper and caravanner and has attended many F.I.C.C. rallies.
Mr Louden joined the Club 18 years ago as Director of Administration and implemented a restructure for the Club before becoming Director of Operations to focus on delivery of products and services to members. Following a period as Deputy Director General he became Director General in 2007. Mr. Louden is also a former Chairman of Forest Holidays and is currently Chairman of Camping in the Forest, both joint ventures with the Forestry Commission.
He has achieved much in all of the many tasks he has undertaken whether in the realm of insurance management, security and safety to counter caravan theft, or sport and recreation. As a Past Chairman of the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) Camping & Caravanning Commission and representative of F.I.C.C. on the AIT/FIA/F.I.C.C. Liaison Committee, Robert Louden is a well-known and respected figure both at home and on the international scene.
The F.I.C.C. President Joao Alves Pereira and members of the F.I.C.C. Council send their hearty congratulations to Robert Louden for the well-deserved honour he has received and wish him many more years of active service with his Club. We thank him for all he has done on behalf of the world of camping in general.

VKCF/VKT (Belgium) The offices of our Belgian member VKCF/VKT will remain open throughout the summer apart from 11 and 12 July and 15 and 16 August.
