In the past month of October, during the weekend of 24 and 25th, a visit to the beautiful city of Rome was paid, with the goal of assessing and evaluating the location, which is going to host the next FICC Youth Rally 2010.

The referred visit counted on the presence of the FICC President, Mr. João Pereira, the President and Vice-President of the FICC Youth Committee, Miss Elieke Nijhuis and Miss Gemma Hawtin, respectively, and still the presence of ACTI Itália Confederazione representatives.

The chosen place for hosting the young campers was, indeed, the "City of Rome" Campsite Park, which appeared as the ideal location for this event to take place in, given some special characteristics, such as its proximity to the Airport and to Rome's city centre. Gifted with easy accesses and a good network of public transports, along with fine quality facilities and the offer of a wide range of services, were altogether positive factors, which contributed, definitely, for this final decision and choice.

The event programme and schedule, carefully elaborated, taking into consideration the claims and needs of youths, fairly demonstrates the organisation sincere commitment in order to attract and please numerous youths, with ages ranging from 14 to 30 years old, granting them the chance of having fun, sharing experiences and knowledge, as well as camping, for 5 days, in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

The huge success of this event is almost for sure, and let us only hope that all youths will, actually, be there! Check the web site www.ficcyouth.com for further information.
We are counting on you all! See you there!
